The men, ages 28 and 39, were boozed up and sitting on a sofa that was being towed by an ATV driven by their friend. An officer sitting inside his patrol car noticed the bizarre stunt, which occurred at 3:19 a.m., and turned on his lights. That's when the ATV driver slammed on the gas and sped away, leaving his two buddies stranded.
