On 12-15-91 The Wolf lost a 22 year old intern named Michael Laird in an auto accident. Michael became friends with Pearl Jam when they played Ohio for the first time and interviewed Eddie Vedder on top of a bridge. Here is the plaque that hangs in the Wolf Studio in his memory and below is Mike's interview with Eddie and a video of Eddie talking about Mike at a show in Pittsburgh.
