FIRST INDIANS HOME RUN IN JACOBS FIELD 4-7-1994

4/7/94: Eddie Murray blasts one deep out of the park for the first Cleveland Indians' home run at Jacobs Field.  The Mariners' Eric Anthony's hit the first home run at The Jake in the third inning on opening day. The longest home run in ballpark history was hit by  Jim Thome on July 3, 1999, measured at 511 feet to center field.
