Did you know that Catherine Bach, who took cut-off blue jean shorts to the next level was born in Warren, Ohio on March 1, 1954. She grew up on a ranch in South Dakota. I did some research but I couldn't find her birth announcement in the old newspapers so I couldn't find out where she lived.
They might have banned the General Lee and the Dukes Of Hazzard in some places but at least they didn't ban Daisy Duke. Jessica Simpson looked pretty good as Daisy Duke in the movie...
The show ran for seven seasons and a total of 145 episodes. Most of the shows followed a similar theme. Bad guys from out of town do something wrong and show how Bo and Luke Duke get the blame and Uncle Jessie and the boys spend the rest of the show clearing their names, as the General Lee flies and kicks up dust and police cars get smashed.
