You try to be helpful and here's what happens. A Detroit Police officer is in hot water after he showed up drunk at breathalyzer training. Michigan State Police say they found out he was tippsy after the officer volunteered to be part of a demonstration on how to use the machine. The students got to see first hand how it's done, and yes it worked. All he wanted to do was help out and look where it got him. No good deed goes unpunished. He didn't have his gun and did not drive there, but I guess they have some kind of rules about showing up drunk for police training.
