April 11, 2002 Congressman Jim Traficant was found guilty of bribery, racketeering, tax evasion and obstruction of justice. He would serve seven years in jail. Some people did not like him other people loved him. I always liked to have him on the show because he was a great guest. He spoke his mind and you never knew what he was going to say next. He was a true Youngstown original. Traficant thought about running for president in 1988 and as you can see in the clip below some of the things he was talking about back then are still being talked about now.
