Browns move to Baltimore - CNN coverage Nov 6, 1995

Cleveland Browns fans were devastated on November 6, 1995. Art Modell, the owner of our beloved Browns announced the team would move to Baltimore the following season. Modell said he made the move because an outdated Cleveland Stadium was falling apart and could not generate sufficient revenues which contributed to mounting financial losses for the team. At the time The Browns were the king of Cleveland sports but the city built new facilities for the The Tribe and The Cavs plus the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and kinda left Art out in the cold.
