On June 14, the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown will hold its 23rd annual Suzi Solomon Golf Classic and Auction at Avalon Golf and Country Club - Squaw Creek Golf Course! Each year this event provides a fun day of golf and food followed by a cocktail hour.
Participants also have the opportunity to win amazing prizes in the auction and raffle. Not only is it a day of camaraderie and friendly competition, it is also the largest fundraiser for the JCC.
The Suzi Solomon Golf Classic & Auction regularly sees nearly one hundred and fifty golfers who help further the JCC's mission. Participants contribute to the success of our wellness programs, as well as adult and youth education, cultural engagement, and community outreach.
Previously, this event has raised the necessary funds to deliver free meals every week to older adults across the Valley, teach lifesaving water safety skills to swimmers of all ages, provide Camp JCC scholarships to local children, create programming designed to bring the community together, and so much more
