Can you imagine you're drumming along to one of Red Hot Chili Peppers' biggest hits, and the band's drummer, Chad Smith, is just sitting in front of you, and you don't even realize it? That was the case for one busker in Los Angeles.

The busker, was hitting the drums while performing along to Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1999 hit, "Otherside," in Santa Monica, and a fan who was filming the whole thing, shared the video on TikTok that shows Smith sitting opposite the drummer, just taking it all in and vibing out.

The fan who caught the video, wrote along with it, "Who wants to tell him?" and "Imagine shooting hoops in front if Michael Jordan and not even realizing it?"

Once the video went viral, fans flooded the comments section, with one sharing, "Bro has one man listening but still the biggest audience," while another wrote, "Chad Smith just vibing and enjoying someone enjoy playing. 10/10."

Another fan wasn't convinced the busker didn't notice Smith sitting right in front of him, suggesting, "Who says he didnt realise? He was probably sitting there the whole time going 'omg, omg, dont mess up, dont mess up.'"

"Otherside" is off of RHCP's hit 1999 album, Californiacation, which also included classics like "Scar Tissue" and the title track, "Californication."
