According to Variety, one of the strangest and most colorful of the many strange and colorful figures from Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness has been indicted on multiple wildlife trafficking charges. Bhagavan “Doc” Antle, exotic animal trainer and wildlife park operator, is the subject of an investigation by the Virginia Attorney General’s animal law unit. He is accused, along with a park owner in Virginia, of trafficking lion cubs between Virginia and Florida.
Antle's charges include one felony count of wildlife trafficking, one felony count of conspiracy to wildlife traffic, four misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to violate the Endangered Species Act and nine misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.
