Sammy Hagar's wife, Kari, just hit the big 5-0, and the Red Rocker threw her an all-star bash at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Sammy says, "Kari's 50th rivaled my annual birthday bashes! It was an '80s-themed party and among the guests were Adam Levine, James Hetfield of Metallica, Bob Weir, Toby Keith, Emeril Lagasse, Michael Anthony and more. In keeping with the '80s theme they all packed the dance floor for performances by Loverboy and Eddie Money."
The party continued the next night with Bob Weir doing a few acoustic numbers. Sammy and his Wabos, with Kenny Aronoff on drums, and Toby Keith got up to do Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" and Bob Seger's "Fire Down Below."
And the birthday girl, Kari, says, "Thank you for the greatest birthday of my life. I'll never forget it and the most awesome present/party anyone could ask for! Thanks to all our friends and family that made it down here to help celebrate my 50th!"
Kari is Sammy's second wife. They tied the knot with her in 1995.
